Ark Creative is responsible for the design, editorial and backlist management of the Jarrold Publishing award-winning Pathfinder and Short Walks' series. With a backlist of over 80 titles being reprinted and updated on a rolling programme, this involves strict adherence to schedules, day-to-day author/Ordnance Survey liaison, project management of and responsibility for the creative process (from receipt of initial material through to final approved artwork and sign-off of printer proofs), and all file back up and archiving.

Voted runner-up in the best guidebook category in the Walk Reader Awards, chosen by readers of the Ramblers’ Association official Walk magazine (target audience of up to 140,000 Ramblers’ Association members), the series enjoys a strong reputation in the walking books’ field.
